Terms and Conditions
AMC ClinicalPro is an independent education and preparation product. These terms preserve mandatory consumer rights while making the platform boundaries clear.
1. Summary
These Terms and Conditions explain the rules for using AMC ClinicalPro across the website, mobile apps, support channels, account surfaces, practice sessions, reading and replay features, AI-supported features, analytics, leaderboard and related services. AMC ClinicalPro is an independent education and preparation product for AMC Part 2 candidates. It is not a patient-care system, official assessment system, clinical record system, emergency service or Australian Medical Council service.
2. Acceptance of these Terms
By accessing the website, creating an account, using the mobile app, starting a practice session, contacting support, using an institution or promotional access path, or continuing to use AMC ClinicalPro after changes are published, you agree to these Terms and the Privacy Policy. If you use AMC ClinicalPro through Apple App Store, Google Play or another platform, the relevant platform terms and billing rules may also apply.
3. Who may use AMC ClinicalPro
AMC ClinicalPro is intended for adult medical graduates, doctors, candidate clinicians, educators and authorised institution users preparing for or supporting clinical examination practice. It is not directed to children, patients or members of the public seeking health advice. You must only use AMC ClinicalPro if you can lawfully enter into these Terms and comply with the laws and professional obligations that apply to you. If you misstate your age, capacity, authority or eligibility, you remain responsible for that use to the maximum extent permitted by law. If AMC ClinicalPro identifies that an account was created or used by someone who is not permitted to use the service, we may restrict access, delete or de-identify the profile and associated account data where required or technically possible, and retain only limited records where needed for security, legal, dispute, audit, backup or compliance reasons.
4. The AMC ClinicalPro service
AMC ClinicalPro is a mobile preparation platform for AMC Part 2 Clinical Examination practice. It may include station discovery, timed case reading, two-minute reading windows, eight-minute live station practice, simulated patient conversations, AI guidance, Session Notes, AI-generated Session Results, recorded-session replay, reading materials, analytics, leaderboard, support flows, account controls and Free, Weekly, Monthly, Yearly or institution access paths.
5. Independent product and no AMC affiliation
AMC ClinicalPro is independent and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, approved by, accredited by or connected to the Australian Medical Council.
6. Education-only use
AMC ClinicalPro is for education, preparation, self-practice and study support only. It does not provide medical advice, clinical care, diagnosis, treatment, prescribing advice, emergency support, registration advice, migration advice, employment advice, legal advice or official examination advice. Users remain responsible for their own study decisions, professional judgement, professional obligations and use of official AMC and regulatory resources.
7. No clinical or emergency use
AMC ClinicalPro must not be used to manage real patients, make clinical decisions, store patient records, provide diagnosis or treatment, decide prescribing, triage emergencies, replace supervision, or act as clinical decision support. If you need medical care, emergency assistance, regulatory advice, migration advice, legal advice or official AMC information, you must use the appropriate professional, emergency, government, regulator or official AMC source.
8. No exam or outcome guarantees
AMC ClinicalPro does not guarantee exam results, official AMC outcomes, AMC eligibility, scheduling, registration, employment, migration, visa, university, placement, credentialing, professional recognition or clinical performance outcomes. Scores, analytics, rankings, readiness signals and Session Results are education and practice tools only. Candidates should rely on official Australian Medical Council sources for eligibility, scheduling, assessment, policy, fees and result information.
9. AI features and limitations
AI may support simulated patient replies, preparation guidance, post-station guidance, Session Results, review prompts and support workflows. AI content may be inaccurate, incomplete, delayed, inconsistent, outdated, biased, unsafe, repetitive, unsuitable or different between attempts. AI may omit important safety issues, misunderstand context, produce overconfident wording, or generate material that needs human review. Users must not treat AI output as official AMC scoring, medical advice, clinical advice, legal advice, migration advice, registration advice, employment advice or a substitute for professional judgement.
10. Session Results, analytics and leaderboard
Session Results, pass/fail-style practice labels, readiness scores, domain analytics, peer or cohort comparisons, leaderboard positions, streaks, attempts, practice history and other progress signals are educational practice indicators only. They are not official AMC marks, official examination results, clinical competence determinations, credentialing records, employment references or reliable predictions of future exam performance. Users are responsible for interpreting them cautiously and combining them with official guidance, supervisor feedback and their own study judgement.
11. User responsibility and professional judgement
You are responsible for your own preparation, professional conduct, clinical reasoning, communication choices, examination decisions and compliance with professional obligations. AMC ClinicalPro may help organise practice, but it cannot know every fact about your circumstances, training, eligibility, clinical environment, local requirements or exam readiness. You should independently verify important information and seek qualified advice where appropriate.
12. Accounts and security
You must provide accurate account information, keep login details secure, use only accounts you are authorised to use, and notify AMC ClinicalPro promptly if you suspect unauthorised access. You are responsible for activity under your account unless the activity resulted from AMC ClinicalPro's failure to meet a non-excludable legal obligation. AMC ClinicalPro may require verification before assisting with account, privacy, deletion, billing or support requests.
13. User content and limited processing licence
Users may submit prompts, messages, typed statements, Session Notes, transcripts, support messages, profile details, display names, ratings, reports, feedback or other app inputs. You retain any rights you have in your content, but you grant AMC ClinicalPro a limited, worldwide, non-exclusive licence to host, store, transmit, process, reproduce, display and use that content as reasonably needed to provide, secure, support, troubleshoot, improve and enforce the service, subject to the Privacy Policy.
14. Prohibited information and real patient data
You must not submit real patient records, identifiable patient information, emergency information, unnecessary sensitive clinical information, private third-party information, health records, Medicare or insurance identifiers, images of patients, hospital records, or information that you are not authorised to process. If an approved privacy or support process specifically requests limited information, you must provide only what is necessary for that process.
15. Content sources, copyright and case material
AMC ClinicalPro is intended to use original, fictional, public-domain, publicly available, licensed or otherwise authorised educational content. Users must not submit, upload, paste, request reproduction of, scrape, distribute, transform, summarise to evade rights, or attempt to process protected official AMC cases, copyrighted handbook text, paid course material, third-party readings, lecture notes, screenshots, images, real patient records or other content they do not have permission or another lawful basis to use. AMC ClinicalPro may remove, restrict, investigate or preserve records relating to content where copyright, privacy, safety, app-store, platform-policy or legal concerns arise.
16. Content development, common knowledge and similarity
AMC ClinicalPro content may be developed from a combination of original authoring, clinical education expertise, publicly available medical knowledge, standard examination-preparation concepts, commonly taught communication frameworks, lawful references, licensed material, user feedback, AI-assisted drafting and editorial review. Many medical topics, station patterns, diagnoses, management principles, counselling steps, safety-netting points and examination-preparation themes are widely taught across books, courses, institutions and public resources, so incidental similarity in ideas, facts, structure, clinical sequence, terminology or topic coverage may occur. AMC ClinicalPro does not claim ownership of general medical facts or common educational methods, and similarity must not be treated as evidence that protected expression was intentionally copied. Where a rights holder believes specific protected expression has been used without permission, they should contact AMC ClinicalPro with enough detail for review; AMC ClinicalPro may remove, replace, restrict or revise disputed content without admitting liability.
17. Acceptable use and misuse prevention
You must not misuse AMC ClinicalPro, interfere with security, bypass access limits, share or sell accounts, scrape or harvest content, build competing datasets, reverse engineer the app except where lawfully permitted, attack infrastructure, upload malware, probe systems without permission, impersonate others, misrepresent affiliation, automate abusive activity, overload services, manipulate leaderboards, use the app for unlawful discrimination or harassment, or use AI features to generate harmful, unlawful, infringing, deceptive or unsafe material.
18. Free, Weekly, Monthly, Yearly and institution access
AMC ClinicalPro may offer Free, Weekly, Monthly, Yearly, institution, trial, promotional or other access paths. Features, usage limits, station limits, reading limits, replay availability, analytics, AI access, institution controls and support levels may differ by access path and may change over time. Public website descriptions are general product information; the app, approved product screen, institution agreement or relevant app-store listing should be treated as the current source for available access details.
19. App-store purchases, renewals, cancellations and refunds
Where access is purchased through Apple App Store, Google Play or another platform, billing, renewal, cancellation, refund, family sharing, tax and payment rules may be controlled by that platform. Subscriptions may renew automatically unless cancelled according to the relevant platform process. Deleting the app, stopping use, deleting an account or contacting AMC ClinicalPro does not automatically cancel an app-store subscription. Refund requests may need to be made through Apple, Google or the relevant payment provider.
20. Apple App Store Terms of Use (EULA)
For users who access AMC ClinicalPro through the Apple App Store, Apple's Standard End User License Agreement may also apply to the app and in-app purchases. If Apple platform terms apply and conflict with these Terms, those Apple terms apply only to the extent required for Apple App Store distribution, billing or platform use.
21. Account deletion and retained records
Signed-in users may delete their account through the app. Account deletion is separate from app-store subscription cancellation. Some information may be retained where required or permitted for security, fraud prevention, accounting, tax, app-store reconciliation, legal, dispute, backup, audit, compliance, abuse prevention or legitimate operational reasons. The Privacy Policy explains data handling and retention in more detail.
22. Institution, cohort and educator access
Institution or cohort access may be subject to additional written terms, purchasing terms, administrator controls, user-management rules, privacy arrangements, reporting arrangements, support boundaries and usage limits. Institution administrators and educators are responsible for using cohort features lawfully, obtaining any required consents, managing authorised users, and avoiding any representation that AMC ClinicalPro provides official AMC assessment or guaranteed outcomes.
23. Third-party services and providers
AMC ClinicalPro may depend on third-party services for cloud hosting, storage, authentication, databases, serverless APIs, AI model processing, text-to-speech, app distribution, app-store payments, analytics, crash reporting, email, support and security monitoring. This may include AWS services such as Cognito, API Gateway, Lambda, DynamoDB, S3, CloudFront, Bedrock, Polly and CloudWatch, as well as Apple, Google and other operational providers. Third-party outages, policy changes, model availability, regional restrictions or platform decisions may affect the service.
24. Availability, maintenance and service changes
AMC ClinicalPro may change, add, limit, suspend, remove or stop features, content, access paths, usage limits, AI models, providers, platform support or availability for maintenance, security, compliance, app-store requirements, provider changes, safety, product improvement or operational reasons. AMC ClinicalPro does not promise uninterrupted, error-free, permanent or loss-free availability. Features may behave differently across app versions, devices, regions, account types and provider availability.
25. Support, reported replies and safety concerns
Users may contact support@amcclinicalpro.com.au for support, privacy requests, account help, business enquiries, bug reports, reported AI replies, content feedback or safety concerns. Support channels must not be used for emergencies or real patient care. AMC ClinicalPro may triage reports, request reasonable details, investigate issues, correct content, restrict content, adjust prompts, or decline requests that are abusive, unsafe, unlawful, unrelated or outside the service scope. Response times are not guaranteed unless separately agreed in writing.
26. Privacy Policy
The Privacy Policy explains how AMC ClinicalPro handles account data, practice activity, transcripts, Session Notes, AI processing, replay metadata, analytics, support requests, diagnostics, crash metadata, app-store entitlement status and website usage data. By using AMC ClinicalPro, you acknowledge that information may be handled as described in the Privacy Policy.
27. Suspension and termination
AMC ClinicalPro may suspend, restrict or terminate access where reasonably necessary for security, misuse, suspected unlawful conduct, copyright or privacy concerns, payment or entitlement issues, app-store requirements, institution access changes, account compromise, breach of these Terms, risk to the service, risk to other users, or legal or regulatory obligations. Users may stop using the service at any time, subject to any app-store, billing, data retention or institution access rules that continue to apply.
28. Intellectual property
AMC ClinicalPro, including its brand, website, app design, text, interface, prompts, workflows, generated product materials, documentation, original educational content, software, icons, graphics and other service materials, is owned by AMC ClinicalPro or its licensors and is protected by intellectual property laws. Except as allowed by these Terms or applicable law, users must not copy, modify, distribute, sell, resell, reproduce, republish, frame, scrape, create derivative products from, or commercially exploit the service or its content.
29. Disclaimers
To the maximum extent permitted by law, AMC ClinicalPro is provided on an education and preparation basis without promises that it will be uninterrupted, error free, clinically complete, officially aligned in every respect, suitable for every candidate, accepted by any institution, or capable of producing any particular exam, career, registration, migration or professional outcome. Educational content, AI outputs, readings, analytics, rankings and support responses may contain errors, omissions or outdated information.
30. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, AMC ClinicalPro is not responsible for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary or punitive loss; loss of profit, revenue, opportunity, goodwill, data, study time, exam fees, migration costs, employment opportunities or career outcomes; user misuse; unlawful uploaded material; AI inaccuracies; unsupported reliance on education-only outputs; third-party service failures; app-store billing decisions; or events outside AMC ClinicalPro's reasonable control. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.
31. Indemnity
To the maximum extent permitted by law, you agree to indemnify AMC ClinicalPro and its operators, officers, employees, contractors, licensors, service providers and affiliates against claims, losses, liabilities, damages, costs and expenses arising from your breach of these Terms, misuse of the service, unlawful content, copyright infringement, privacy breach, submission of real patient records or identifiable patient information, account sharing, unauthorised access, or reliance on education-only outputs contrary to these Terms.
32. Australian Consumer Law and non-excludable rights
Nothing in these Terms excludes, restricts or modifies any consumer guarantee, privacy obligation, statutory guarantee, warranty, right or remedy that cannot lawfully be excluded, restricted or modified, including rights under Australian Consumer Law where applicable. Where the law permits liability to be limited, AMC ClinicalPro's liability is limited to the maximum extent permitted by that law.
33. Governing law and disputes
Unless mandatory laws require otherwise, these Terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia. Before starting formal proceedings, users should contact support@amcclinicalpro.com.au with a clear description of the issue, relevant account or request details, and the outcome sought, so the parties can try to resolve the issue informally. Nothing prevents either party from seeking urgent relief where legally available.
34. Changes to these Terms
AMC ClinicalPro may update these Terms as the product, providers, access paths, app-store requirements, laws, policies or risk controls change. Updated Terms may be published on the website or in the app. Continued use after updated Terms are published or notified means you accept the updated Terms, unless mandatory law requires a different process.
35. Contact
Questions about these Terms, support, account access, privacy requests, content concerns, business enquiries or partnership discussions can be sent to support@amcclinicalpro.com.au. Do not include real patient records, emergency information or unnecessary sensitive clinical information in email or contact forms.
